General & process

What does BJC Global do?

BJC Global designs, fabricates, supplies, installs, commissions and maintains water and wastewater treatment plants, including RO, water treatment, softeners, iron removal, filtration, mineral water, pool filtration, STP, ETP, CETP and water recycling. We also deliver irrigation, dust suppression and fire systems. One team handles the project from first site visit to annual maintenance, so you have a single point of responsibility.

Where is BJC Global based and which areas do you serve?

Our office is at Mapsko Casabella, Sector 82, Gurugram, Haryana. We work across Delhi NCR, including Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Manesar and Sonipat, and take on projects across India. For sites outside NCR, we usually start with drawings, photographs and water or wastewater reports, then plan site visits at key stages.

How does a typical project work with BJC Global?

It usually follows five stages: your enquiry, a site visit or water test, a written proposal, fabrication and installation, then commissioning and handover with operator training. After that, we can take on an annual maintenance contract. Each stage has a clear scope, so you know what is included before work begins.

Do you offer a free site visit or water test?

Yes. For projects in Delhi NCR, we can arrange a free site visit to understand your space, water source, drainage and requirements, and help with water or wastewater sampling. Laboratory testing itself may be done through a recognised lab. For sites further away, we review your existing reports and drawings first and advise on what testing is needed.

What information should I share to get a proposal?

Helpful details include the type of building or industry, daily water use or sewage flow, number of residents, employees or beds, the available space, and any existing water or effluent test reports. Photographs of the site and your consent conditions, if applicable, also help. If you do not have all of this, we can help gather it during a site visit.

Do you take on projects outside Delhi NCR?

Yes. BJC Global executes projects across India. Plants can be fabricated and pre-assembled where practical, then dispatched for installation on site. Our engineers visit for installation supervision and commissioning, and remote support plus periodic visits can be arranged under an AMC. Logistics and travel are factored into the proposal so the scope is transparent.

STP & ETP

What is the difference between an STP and an ETP?

An STP treats domestic sewage from toilets, bathrooms and kitchens, mainly using biological processes. An ETP treats industrial process effluent, which can contain oil, chemicals, metals, colour or high dissolved salts, so it usually combines physico-chemical and biological stages. Many factories need both. Our ETP vs STP vs CETP guide explains the differences in detail.

What capacity of STP or ETP can you build?

BJC Global designs STPs and ETPs from 5 KLD to 100 MLD. Small packaged plants suit individual buildings, while larger civil plants serve townships, campuses and industrial units. The right capacity depends on population, water use and future expansion, so we calculate it from your data rather than picking a standard size. Try our STP capacity calculator for a first estimate.

Which STP technology do you recommend?

It depends on your capacity, space, reuse plans and who will operate the plant. MBBR is a sensible default for many societies, offices and hotels because it is compact and forgiving. SBR suits larger plants with trained operators, and MBR suits very tight sites or high-grade reuse. Our technology comparison sets out the trade-offs.

Will my STP or ETP meet pollution control norms?

Plants are designed to meet applicable CPCB and SPCB discharge norms and the conditions in your consent. Meeting them consistently also depends on correct operation, regular maintenance and inlet quality staying within design limits. That is why we provide operator training, recommend routine testing and offer AMC support after commissioning.

Can treated water from an STP be reused?

Yes. With suitable tertiary treatment, typically filtration and disinfection, treated sewage is commonly reused for toilet flushing, gardening, cooling tower make-up and washing. Reuse needs a treated water tank and separate plumbing. Where higher quality is needed, additional steps such as ultrafiltration or RO can be added. Reuse can substantially cut fresh water demand and tanker costs.

Can you upgrade or repair an existing STP or ETP?

Yes. We can assess underperforming or overloaded plants, identify the cause, and recommend fixes ranging from operational changes and equipment replacement to upgrades such as adding MBBR media, tube settlers or tertiary filters. The aim is to restore performance within the existing structure wherever possible, which is usually faster and cheaper than building new.

RO & water treatment

What range of RO plants does BJC Global supply?

We supply commercial and industrial RO plants from 50 LPH to 5,00,000 LPH. Smaller units serve offices, schools and hotels, while larger systems serve process water, boiler feed and utilities in industry. Each plant is configured from your water analysis, with the right pre-treatment, membranes and controls. See our RO buying guide for the key decisions.

Why do you need a water test before quoting for RO?

RO design depends on the feed water. TDS, hardness, silica, iron, chlorine and turbidity decide the pre-treatment, membrane type, operating pressure and safe recovery. Without a test, a quote is guesswork, and an unsuitable design can lead to rapid membrane fouling or scaling. A proper analysis protects your investment and keeps running costs predictable.

Do I need RO, or will a softener or filter do?

It depends on what is wrong with the water. If the problem is hardness alone, a softener may be enough. If it is iron, an iron removal filter helps. If it is turbidity, a sand or multimedia filter may solve it. RO is needed when total dissolved solids are too high for your use. A water test tells us which applies.

How much water does an RO plant reject?

That depends on the recovery the plant is designed for, which is set by your feed water chemistry. Brackish water plants often recover roughly 50% to 75%, so the rest goes to reject. Reject can sometimes be reused for washing, flushing or dust suppression, or managed through further treatment where zero liquid discharge applies.

Do you supply mineral water and swimming pool filtration plants?

Yes. BJC Global supplies mineral water plants with treatment, disinfection and related equipment, and swimming pool filtration systems for residential, hotel and club pools. Packaged drinking water units also need licensing and quality testing, which the owner must arrange; we design the treatment process to support those requirements.

How long do RO membranes last?

With good pre-treatment, correct antiscalant dosing, regular cleaning and operation within design limits, RO membranes typically last several years. Life is shortened by scaling, fouling, chlorine exposure and irregular maintenance. Logging daily pressures, flows and conductivity helps spot problems early, and our AMC includes scheduled checks and cleaning to extend membrane life.

Irrigation

What irrigation systems does BJC Global offer?

We design and install drip, sprinkler, micro and mist irrigation, along with smart irrigation and automation, precision farming, hydroponics and vertical garden irrigation. Projects include farms, orchards, nurseries, greenhouses, landscapes, golf and sports turf, and residential or commercial campuses, with each design matched to the water source and site.

Is drip or sprinkler irrigation better?

It depends on the crop or planting, soil, spacing and water availability. Drip suits row crops, orchards, shrubs and planters, delivering water to the root zone with very little loss. Sprinklers suit lawns, turf and closely planted crops that need overhead coverage. Many landscapes use both: sprinklers for lawns and drip for beds and trees.

Can treated STP water be used for irrigation?

Often, yes. Treated sewage that meets applicable norms for gardening is commonly used for landscape irrigation in housing societies, campuses and offices. Good filtration is important to prevent emitter and nozzle blockage, and subsurface or drip methods reduce contact with people. We can design the STP tertiary stage and the irrigation network together.

What does irrigation automation involve?

Automation uses controllers, solenoid valves and, where useful, soil moisture or weather sensors to run irrigation on schedule or on demand. It saves labour, avoids over-watering and lets you water at night or early morning. Systems range from simple timers to app-based controllers that can be monitored remotely, depending on site size and budget.

Do you design irrigation for farms outside Delhi NCR?

Yes. We take on irrigation projects across India. We typically start with a farm layout, crop details, water source and soil information, then design the system, supply materials and supervise or carry out installation. Field visits are planned at key stages, and training is provided so your team can operate and maintain the system.

How much maintenance does a drip system need?

Drip systems need regular filter cleaning, periodic flushing of laterals and mains, and occasional chemical treatment to clear mineral or algae build-up in emitters, depending on water quality. Checking for leaks and damaged lines after field operations is also important. With routine care, a well-designed system typically performs reliably for many seasons.

Dust suppression & fire systems

Which dust suppression systems do you supply?

BJC Global supplies dry fog, wet fog, fog cannon, plain water spray and sprinkler-based dust suppression systems, including solutions for mines, crusher plants, coal handling plants and coal yards. Most sites benefit from a combination matched to each dust source. Our dry fog vs fog cannon guide explains how to choose.

Is a fog cannon suitable for construction and demolition sites?

Yes. Fog cannons are widely used on construction and demolition sites to settle airborne dust over open areas. Mobile or trolley-mounted units can follow the work as it moves. The right model depends on the area to be covered, water and power availability and wind conditions. We can recommend a size after understanding your site.

Does dry fog add moisture to the material?

Very little. Dry fog uses extremely fine droplets created with compressed air and water, which capture airborne dust with minimal wetting of the product. That is why it is often chosen for coal, cement, clinker and minerals. It works best at enclosed or semi-enclosed points such as conveyor transfers, crushers, hoppers and screens.

What fire systems does BJC Global provide?

We provide fire systems including fire suppression solutions and water mist and compressed air foam systems, designed around the risk being protected. The appropriate system and design standard depend on the building or process, occupancy and applicable fire regulations. We work with your consultant or fire authority requirements to define the scope.

What utilities do dust suppression systems need?

It depends on the system. Dry fog needs compressed air and clean water; wet fog needs water and a high-pressure pump; fog cannons need power for the fan and pump plus a water supply; sprinklers need pumps and pipelines. Filtered water is important for fine nozzles. We list utility requirements clearly in the proposal.

Can dust suppression run automatically with my plant?

Yes. Systems can be interlocked with conveyors, crushers or feeders so they operate only when material is moving, saving water and avoiding wet spots. Timers, sensors and remote controls can also be added for fog cannons and sprinklers. Automation is designed to suit your existing controls and how your team runs the plant.

Pricing

How much does an STP cost?

STP cost depends on capacity, technology, construction (civil, MS or FRP), inlet quality, treated water quality required, automation and site conditions such as excavation or basement installation. Because these vary so much, a fixed price per KLD can mislead. Share your requirements and we will prepare a detailed proposal, with options where they make sense.

What affects the price of an RO plant?

Key factors are capacity in LPH, feed water TDS and chemistry, the pre-treatment needed, membrane make and grade, pump and material choices, level of automation and instrumentation, and reject management. Two plants with the same LPH can differ greatly in these respects. A water report lets us quote accurately and compare options transparently.

Is the cheapest quotation usually the best value?

Not always. Lower quotes sometimes reduce membrane count, skip pre-treatment stages, use smaller blowers or leave out instrumentation, which raises running costs and failure risk later. When comparing, check the scope line by line, the design basis, equipment makes, warranty terms and what is included at commissioning. Lifetime cost matters more than the purchase price.

Do your proposals include installation and commissioning?

Our proposals set out the scope clearly, typically covering design, equipment supply, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning and operator training. Civil work, electrical supply up to the panel, and site-specific items may be included or listed as client scope depending on the project. Any exclusions are stated upfront so there are no surprises.

What are the running costs of a treatment plant?

Running costs typically include electricity, chemicals, consumables such as cartridges and filter media, sludge disposal, operator salary and maintenance. They depend on capacity, technology and how well the plant is run. We share an estimate of the main running costs with our proposal so you can compare lifetime cost, not just capital.

How long does a typical project take?

Timelines depend on capacity, scope and site readiness. Compact packaged plants can typically be supplied and installed faster than large civil plants, which depend on construction schedules. Approvals, civil work and electrical readiness on site often decide the overall timeline. We share a realistic schedule in the proposal and update you at each stage.

AMC & support

What does an AMC from BJC Global include?

An AMC typically includes scheduled preventive maintenance visits, performance checks, servicing of pumps, blowers and dosing systems, cleaning of filters and membranes where applicable, and guidance on chemicals and consumables. Comprehensive and non-comprehensive options can be discussed. The exact scope, visit frequency and response terms are agreed in the contract.

Do you provide AMC for plants installed by others?

Yes, in many cases. We first inspect the plant to understand its condition, design and any performance issues, then recommend repairs or upgrades needed before taking it on. This avoids surprises for both sides. Once the plant is in working order, we can offer an AMC with clear scope and visit schedules.

Do you supply spares and consumables?

Yes. We supply spares and consumables such as membranes, cartridges, filter media, MBBR media, diffusers, pumps, blowers, dosing pumps and instruments for the plants we maintain. Keeping critical spares on site reduces downtime, and we can recommend a spares list for your plant based on its equipment and usage.

Do you train our operators?

Yes. Operator training is part of commissioning. We cover daily checks, start-up and shutdown, log sheets, chemical handling, backwashing, simple troubleshooting and safety. Refresher training can be arranged under AMC or when operators change. A trained operator is one of the biggest factors in keeping a plant performing well.

How quickly can you respond to a breakdown?

Response times depend on location and the terms of your AMC. Sites in Delhi NCR can typically be attended faster than those further away. Many issues can be diagnosed over a phone or WhatsApp call with photographs or readings, which helps us arrive with the right parts. Agreed response times are written into the AMC.
